I received information from 1099-B form of a stock sale...can someone walk me through what I have to do?
This form only lists the amount of proceeds ...74 dollars, which was what I got back. Shouldn't they factor in what I put in to it as well (a total of 67 dollars is what I put in). I don't want to miss any steps and a lot of this language is confusing on these forms. Can I still e-file with this? What am I supposed to send in to prove what I invested to begin with?
